Our stay was wonderful!

Our fantastic hosts, Lorraine and Ron, have created a beautiful shepherd’s hut style cabin. Our stay was wonderful! The cleanliness along with quality of all the fixtures and fittings was exceptional. The thoughtful design and attention to detail meant we wanted for nothing in this wonderfully quiet and cosy space. Fitted with subtle coloured lighting, WiFi and even Alexa, you can relax on the very comfortable bed or choose to sit at the cleverly designed rotating table.

Although compact in size, the clever use of space means the cabin can boast a separate shower, loo and even a sauna! There is a good sized private terrace complete with an outside dining area and swing seat, from which, if you are lucky, you can watch King Fishers flitting up and down a tributary to the River Wylye only feet away.

There is quite a narrow road to access the property but plenty of room to park once you arrive.

The location is ideal, right in the middle of the ancient town of Wilton, although the lovely garden setting makes it feel like you are in the middle of the countryside. It is an easy walk to all the local facilities including the spectacular Wilton House. This is a great location from which to explore all the nearby attractions including Salisbury Cathedral and Stonehenge.
