Cosy cabin to rent in Wilton, Salisbury, Southern England

Although we are in the centre of Wilton, the location tends to be quiet. Some evenings you can hear music from the nearby Pembroke Arms restaurant and pizzeria. On Monday evenings you might hear echoes of ‘quiz master’ during the very popular quiz night!

Pembroke Arms  is a welcoming and lively pub with seasonal, local food and an excellent range of drinks. There’s an indoor bar and restaurant and an outdoor dining tent, heated in winter for year-round use. During summer weekends, the garden is transformed with an outdoor Garden Kitchen and Tap Room.

Bell’s Yard is an excellent base to explore Wilton’s range of independent shops, pubs and cafes: The Guild (formerly Wilton Carpet Factory), The Wilton Carpet Factory, The Courtyard Marketplace on West Street, Happybara also on West Street. The Greyhound on the Market Square, The Bear Inn don't serve food but allow to bring in your own. Outdoor markets are held on Thursdays.

On Saturdays and Tuesdays there is the Salisbury Market.

Salisbury has excellent rail service to Exeter, Bath & Bristol.

Not far from the market are the ruins of St Mary's & Church abandoned in the mid 19th-century in favour of the impressive Italian romanesque Basilica of St Mary and St Nicholas.

Nearby Wilton House, home of 18th Earl and Countess of Pembroke. Set in 21 acres of landscaped parkland with a stunning collection of sculptures and paintings.

Grovely Woods for hikes.
